I’ve been making music for some years now, using Ableton, recording
voices and synth, sometimes reel to reel and cassette.
I learned a lot
about me and others in the process.
The idea of releasing an EP have
been in my head for a long time, but I was thinking I wasn’t ready or
good enough for some reason.
Discussing with an artist I just met, she said
something in the line of “We’d like to live with your music before we
die”.
I selected tracks that I liked, gave me a week to finish them,
adding lyrics and B-part, and put this to the world.
Interestingly
enough, since then I haven’t wrote much lyrics, and made less music. In
a way it’s a bit sad, I like what I wrote and I’m happy to listen to
those tracks from time to time. But I’m also happy to discover new ways
of making music. My sister offered me to make the cover, here is her behance .
Coincidentally, she chose my favorite flowers in our mom’s garden for
the photo.
